Broward Community College (BCC) retained MCHarry Associates to provide complete architectural and engineering services at the college's Willis Holcombe Center, Building 31. The scope of work includes services to remodel approximately 13,000 sq ft of existing administrative offices and conference rooms on the fifth and sixth floors which will house the administrative offices for the college-wide departments of Human Resources and Procurement Services.

BCC has also requested the addition of approximately 2,000 sq ft to a multi-story toilet room tower, while remodeling approximately 1,500 sq ft of existing toilet room facilities to accommodate ADA compliant restrooms for the building.

The project includes design services to comply with general requirements for compliance with U.S. Green Building Council (USGBA) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) prerequisites and credits for the project to obtain basic certification, as a minimum standard, following LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI) guidelines to meet college standards of energy conservation and sustainability.
