This project involved the reconstruction of 20,000sf for new classrooms and administration offices for Broward Community College, College of Business.
State-of-the-art technology was implemented for the new classrooms, business / computer laboratories and office areas. The project also resolved critical ADA barrier removals by adding ADA compliant restrooms and a new passenger elevator.
Along the main interior corridor is the main College of Business reception area. An accent feature was created to make a professional statement and grand entrance for the departmental office areas. Optimal building use is achieved through clarity of the overall room layout and enhanced wall partition soundproofing for the classrooms. Such items as computer / electrified furniture systems and a state-of-the-art addressable fire alarm system, afford the building an advanced technological performance. The new restroom / elevator core construction adjoins the existing north facade to complete the school’s modernization.
