The Dade County Courthouse of Miami is an ongoing historic restoration and renovation project.  The project involves exterior terra cotta deterioration testing, restoration, and complete interior retrofit and renovation of the 262,000 sf 28-story Miami Landmark.  The project is planned to take place in stages over a ten year period, with an estimated construction cost of $15 million.  Architectural and Engineering tasks included various investigation studies (exterior restoration, upgrading the various building utilities such as telephone, air conditioning systems, elevator systems), complete space planning and reprogramming, and phased Contract Documents.

The American Institute of Architects Miami Chapter awarded the Lobby Restoration with the Historic Preservation Award in 2000. The Dade County Courthouse has also recieved awards from Dade Heritage Trust, Construction Specifications Institute, and the Toby Award.
