The Dockmaster Facility is located at the Dinner Key Marina in the City of Miami, Florida. The Marina is the largest wet slip marina on the east coast and anchors the marine waterfront in Coconut Grove which provides a total of 2000 wet slips and dry storage to boaters. It is comprised of 581 wet slips and 225 associated moorings.

The waters from Biscayne Bay are said to provide the best winter sailing conditions. Coconut Grove’s sailing and yacht clubs host over 14 different sailing regattas every year, and host over 2,000 sailing racers, crew, coaches, and families from around the world.

Beyond its function as a service center for Marina customers, the new 9,700sf Dockmaster building will incorporate, demonstrate, and educate users and visitors on practical sustainable design concepts tailored to the South Florida and Florida Keys environment. In this regard, the project is tracking a Silver Level certification from the US Green Building Council.
