The Islamorada Village Municipal Center is a 25,000sf, high profile complex located directly North of the Overseas Highway in the Florida Keys. The complex is founded on the design principles of sustainable design and a contemporary interpretation of 'tidewater' tropical architecture.
The program for the municipal center includes a fire station, police department, building department, city administration offices and commission chambers. As a key element of city infrastructure, the complex must be designed to withstand storm tides and hurricane force winds.
