At Lake Forest Elementary School, MCHarry Associates designed the 44,000sf replacement of six (6) classroom buildings (28 classrooms total) and the addition of a cafeteria/ multi-purpose building.
The classroom building was designed as a prototype / expandable classroom addition. This site constructed 3 modules. These modules were subsequently used at another school in Broward County.
The 13,000sf cafeteria / multi-purpose space includes a stage, dining area, dressing rooms and full kitchen. Also included in the scope of work are improvements to the parking lot, parent drop-off and bus drop-off areas. In addition, life safety upgrades were made to the entire school and a mechanical life cost analysis was completed.
