The Phase I building at Miami Dade College North Campus is designed to establish visual identity for the Environmental Science and Criminal Justice Schools. The program spaces are housed within a 23,000sf, two story, L-shaped building with the reception area, staff offices, conference room and lounge area on the lower level. Classrooms, environmental laboratories and related support facilities are located on the upper level. The main entry hall provides access to a grand stairway, passenger, elevator, and common use facilities. The building has been carefully configured to accommodate a future Phase Two expansion to the west of Phase One which, when implemented, will deliver a single building expression.
