The Town of Miami Lakes has, for many years, been committed to improving and expanding the public park amenities available to its residents. With these interests in mind, the Town engaged the services of MCHarry Associates to develop a coherent and consolidated master plan for their 8 acre Optimist Park that can be implemented in phases as funding becomes available. When fully implemented, the park will include a fully enclosed gymnasium with a regulation basketball court; a multipurpose community center/clubhouse facility; a public swimming pool with a companion toilet/shower/locker building; and various support facilities including expanded surface parking.
