This project involves a 20,000sf vertical expansion to an existing high school. The design added floor area out over the existing roof area saving valuable land area for other school activities. This was accomplished through innovative design, detailing and structural analysis. The project included the addition of fire alarms and fire sprinklers to the entire 245,000sf school, while occupied. Renovation improvements were also made to the auditorium seating, stage and sound systems/ video conference facilities.
