The City of South Miami selected MCHarry Associates to be the architect for the $3 million Community Center located at Murray Park.
The facility includes a 30,000sf two-story addition and 2,400 sf renovation. The multi-purpose space contains a fitness center; dance and aerobics studio, arts and crafts room, recreation room, multipurpose room with stage, activity rooms, computer room, warming kitchen, administrative offices, conference/ meeting room, common work space and support spaces.
Additionally, Murray Park has a 350-seat gymnasium and a public swimming / competitive events pool. This eight lane, 25 meter public swimming pool also has related support facilities. Outside, Murray Park has practice fields, a fitness trail, two basketball courts and children’s play area.
