EXPERIENCE: Mr. Piersol has over 30 years of experience with major public projects including historic restoration, library buildings, transportation facilities, municipal streetscapes, educational facilities, and high profile food and beverage establishments. He has served numerous public sector clients including the State University System, Dade County GSA, Miami Dade County Public School District; Broward County Public School District; Miami International Airport, and the 11th District Circuit Court. He is particularly adept at managing the schedule and cost constraints typically imposed on large scale, complex public projects.
Mr. Piersol has authored numerous studies, consultation reports, project cost estimates and technical specifications. He has lectured on Historic Preservation Tax Incentives, Terra Cotta Restoration, and Specifications for Renovation and Restoration. Personal Awards include a Special Citation for Technical Excellence in the production of Contract Documents from the Construction Specifications Institute, the Miami AIA Historical Preservation Award and the F.A.A.I.A. Bronze Medal.
Mr. Piersol is a certified Construction Specifier, past president of the Miami Chapter Construction Specifications Institute, and has served as a member of the AIA Board of Directors.
