EXPERIENCE: Mr. Porter-Brown is a highly valued vice president who has proven himself to be an extremely effective project manager, able to instill a strong esprit de corps among his team members. He has more than 24 years of construction experience and over 15 years of experience in the design, contract documentation, and construction administration aspects of numerous institution, municipal and government entity projects. His ability to work and communicate with diverse groups enables him to better coordinate and resolve various and often conflicting project elements. Mr. Porter-Brown's dedication and commitment to superior design, coupled with his repeated success of meeting project deadlines, has won him accolades from both his peers and our clients.
As a member of the MCHarry Associates Board of Directors, Mr. Porter-Brown oversees consultant selection and coordination, day-to-day staffing assignments, and project management. He also manages the Aviation Design Team at MCHarry Associates. With environmentally conscious and sustainable design/construction being a focal point in Mr. Porter-Brown's work, he is currently working in conjunction with Tom Carlson on several institutions and government agency projects that are intended to become LEED Certified.
In the community, Mr. Porter-Brown is one of the founders of the South Florida Chapter of Surfrider Foundation, an international coastal environmental organization.
