University of Miami's Writing Center and the English Composition Center are undergoing renovations to transform the two into the new Toppel Career Center.  The combined buildings are approximately 11,748sf and are connected by a breezeway, ramps and stairs elements; which will become an enclosed lobby space for the center.

Renovations/retrofit include the new air conditioned lobby structure with appropriate egress additions, ADA compliant restrooms, upgrades to the roof structure, new exterior windows and doors, and fire protection ugrades.  Additionally, landscape and irrigation improvements will be completed for the courtyard and surrounding building perimeter.
