Located in the City of Miramar, this single-story 'green' Community Center building serves as the anchor and support facility for the 20 acre park environment at Vizcaya Park. The building will provide several recreational opportunities for the local community, including three lighted baseball fields, one lighted soccer/multi-use field, two outdoor basketball courts, two lighted picnic pavillions, perimeter fitness trail with outdoor exercise equipment, and on-site parking.

The 7,660 GSF building will include spaces for recreation, computer education/activity, gaming, park concessions, office, and support functions with the expectation of achieving a LEED Silver Rating from the USGBC.  The anticipated project construction cost is to be approximately $2.0 million.
