Atlantic Sapphire Salmon Farm

Atlantic Sapphire’s sustainable Atlantic Salmon Brand utilizes cutting-edge Oceanus technology to provide ideal living conditions to create optimum salmon growth while removing the negative impact to the environment. When considering development of their first fully land based salmon fish farm in the United States, Atlantic Sapphire selected South Florida and one of South Florida’s premier architectural firms, MC Harry Associates in collaboration with the Danish architectural firm, Arkitec.  The project is comprised of a nine acre facility completely under roof containing 36 grow tanks each 26,000sf in size and augmented with a sophisticated series of bio-filters, intake water temperature controls and effluent treatment systems. Atlantic Sapphire is a world-leading producer of Landbased Salmon raised in closed contained aquaculture systems. Atlantic Sapphire has been running its commercial pilot in Denmark since 2011.
