MDC N Honors College Renovation

MCHarry & Associates will provide architectural design and coordination services for the renovation of the Honors College at Miami Dade College North Campus. The project includes the demolition and reconfiguration of existing interiors to create a modern, flexible environment supporting academic, administrative, and collaborative functions. The renovated space will include a reception area, student collaboration zones, computer workstations, offices, conference and meeting rooms, a kitchenette, storage, and display areas. The design will emphasize open, transparent layouts, modular furniture, integrated technology, and enhanced lighting, while incorporating acoustic strategies and limited plumbing improvements. Services will address life safety, accessibility, and code compliance, and include coordination with the Construction Manager for staging, logistics, and protection of existing conditions. MCHarry will work closely with MDC stakeholders to deliver a functional, student-centered facility.
