The Governor Leroy Collins Farm Park is a multi-component public park and educational civic facility designed to support community programming, agricultural education, and environmental stewardship for the Town of Davie. MCHarry & Associates is providing full architectural and site design services, including program verification, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and permitting, advancing the Town’s previously adopted master plan into a fully coordinated, construction-ready project. The scope includes a Welcome and Education Center for community programming and events, a multi-purpose arena and agricultural support facilities with stables and animal areas, an elevated farm observation structure, farmers market pavilion and open-air structures, caretaker’s residence, entry control gate, internal circulation and parking, comprehensive site civil and utility infrastructure, wetlands and gardens, native landscaping, and accessible pedestrian trails and outdoor gathering spaces. The project is currently in permitting with construction anticipated to follow and demonstrates MCHarry’s ability to deliver complex, multi-building public park and civic facilities that integrate vertical construction, site development, utilities, and community programming within a municipal environment.
