The Dan Marino Foundation and FIU EMBRACE have teamed up to maximize post-secondary educational opportunities for students with autism and other developmental disabilities. DMF programs will focus on education, technology, career advancement and independence. FIU EMBRACE’s cross-disciplinary approach will provide hands-on learning opportunities for FIU students. MC Harry Associates’ interior design studio was engaged by FIU Embrace to provide planning and design services organized around the primary goal to prepare its students for real world workplace interactions utilizing unique Virtual Reality software. Facility fitup includes administrative and career counseling offices; three private offices and a break room; a computer classroom; and four individual classrooms demised with operable partitions to accommodate large gatherings.
